Restorative Dental Care

Tooth Colored Fillings

When we restore your cavity, we finish your tooth with a filling that perfectly blends in with your beautiful smile. According to the American Dental Association, “Composite resins, or tooth-colored fillings, provide good durability and resistance to fracture in small- to mid-size fillings that need to withstand moderate pressure from the constant stress of chewing. They can be used on either front or back teeth. They are a good choice for people who prefer that their fillings look more natural.” Our staff utilizes the most current and technologically refined composite resin to make your smile exceptional.

Dental Crowns

These are a durable casing that is shaped uniquely to your tooth to cover cracks, grinding, deterioration, or damage. Crowns may be fabricated of porcelain, zirconia, gold, or a combined blend of these elements to guarantee you have options and a say in your dental work. Today, the most popular choices are metal-free to look the most natural, but we offer metal options as well if desired. We collaborate with dental laboratories that model crowns to perfection so you have a crown that is comfortable, secure, and built to last.

Crowns require 2 appointments. Your first appointment will take between 50-90 minutes. Dr. Hunt and his assistant will shape your tooth to better fit the crown, use putty to take an impression of the tooth, and put on a temporary crown. We will send the impression to a local lab that will custom-make your crown for you, which can take 2-3 weeks. The second appointment takes about 30 minutes to permanently fit the new custom crown to your tooth, where we will ensure the color matches your teeth and fits comfortably.

Dental Bridges

This is a permanent application and a discreet way to fill gaps between teeth by replacing lost adult teeth. It restores your grin to a complete and pure set. Although there is a wide variety of bridges, the most desired kind replicates the shape and color of your teeth and is manufactured of porcelain. Bridges are composed of a crown for each neighboring tooth of your gap with the replacement tooth in the middle to anchor your new tooth firmly. This can be extended to cover many gaps left open by missing teeth.

Veneers

Veneers are slim coverings constructed with porcelain. They attach to mend partially broken or tilted teeth, or pearly whites that have lost their crisp, clean color. Veneers can also correct large spaces between teeth. They match the durability and firm structure of an adult tooth. Veneers make your smile look amazing while preserving most of your natural tooth.

Implant Dental Crowns

An implant crown takes place of a missing tooth. This is similar to a bridge, but does not require crowns to be fitted to neighboring teeth. A metal structure similar to a natural tooth root is fused to the jaw bone; the crown is then secured to and on top of this root to reflect a complete set of teeth.
